I find it confusing on how people could hate this guy, dislike? maybe, but hate? how did we get there?
(sasuke if he didn't "butt in" you would have a whole through your chest :P)
I am biased because he's my favorite and I haven't moved on since it's been two years but he is literally the reason team 7 is a thing, they wouldn’t have qualified with out him
Like i dunno man to me he's very kind like when he chose protected Naruto
Also the time when he noticed Sakura was feeling doubtful of herself he reminded her what she was good at
You could also go back to the time when Naruto was starving and he decided he would risk his goal for him, mind you his goal is pretty much his reason for even being alive?? which i don't know about you but that is insane
I also just think it's silly that he gets caught up in silly stuff like this
Honorable mention is when he recognized Naruto would not remember the password (the anime making him say 'a hamster could remember better than Naruto' had me XD)

Some people hate him because he's "emo" to which I'll say nuh uh, no he not
Emo is a rock music genre, sasuke is so focused on his goal he barely let's himself enjoy things or even have hobbies so I doubt he's even heard of it. Also being emo has nothing to do with the personality, attitude, or body language of a person
Also the expectation of him? I think it's weird that he's expected to be all...Uppy? I dunno how to describe it but happy go lucky basically. How in the everloving creation of this hellhole we call earth would he just be chill while his brother was probably just munching happily on lunch after committing genocide? Unrealistic
I know people will love itachi, and that's good for you, opinions? Great! I hate when people lie about their opinions just to fit in or match other people. I in particular cannot understand it for the life of me. Like why did he put baby Sasuke under that traumatizing genjutsu right after murdering their parents??? Like what did he get out of that? Or when he put Sasuke in a coma and Tsunade had to wake him up and he was also put under a messed up genjutsu at this time
Sasuke is sometimes hated for his hatred or anger, but what was he supposed to feel? Happy? Depressed? Neither of those emotions could have helped him much, I personally relate to anger being a good motivater. Not that happiness or any other emotion can't be I just relate to it more. Not to mention there is literally no appropriate reaction to any of the situations Sasuke was put through, he was going to lose something either way when he was leaving the leaf
Like if you had a choice, would you choose the love and duty you have towards your family who met a horrific end, or choose your friend of whom you can deeply relate to because of the lonliness you've both experienced?
Who wouldn’t struggle with that? It's not you can easily just choose one since eitherway you lose something. Why do people expect him to just move on from his family or expect him to choose someone over his family I will never know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Random thing I just wanna type is why is he so hard to draw? His hair is so damn weird like what happened back there? He just wakes up brushes the front bangs and everything and then looks at the back and just exits his house/apartment. I have him doodles everywhere and he never looks right??? He never looks the same either but then again I am a sucky artist so :'3
Anyway, there's also people who dislike Sasuke and say he's sexist, I get confused because where did that statment come from? He isn't misogynistic there is nothing there in the manga that shows he's sexist so I'm not sure how that came to be. It may be because he turned down Sakura harshly on numerous accounts but to be fair she also harrassed him. He tells her no multiple times so that shoulda been clear

I think he's collect stamps, not implied by canon or anything but I think Sasuke would be a stamp collector. I think he also plays the flute because of that one piece of at Kishimoto drew.
